Shady Solutions

For those areas where just nothing seems to grow there are options. A combination of river rocks, flagstones and pea gravel can take the place of plants.

This area was victim to city construction work. After the city worker’s finished what they set out to do there was nothing but a sand pit left behind. This had always been a troublesome area so I decided to create a rock garden in its place.

This area under the deck was very shady and nothing would grow. I created this rock garden for my client which resolved the problem.

This area beside the garage is very shady. Perfect for Hostas and a quiet sitting area.

A metal sculpture resting on a bed of river rocks is a wonderful solution for problem areas.
